Xiamen University Selects Moving Vessel Profiler
Xiamen University has purchased a Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) for the research vessel JIA GENG. The university’s State Key Laboratory of Marine Environmental Science will use the deep water underway profiling system, MVP300, to collect CTD, sound velocity, and environmental data in support of both hydrographic and ocean science applications. The ability to collect high density data in real-time while the vessel is underway will produce higher quality results than can be achieved with static profiling systems, and in a fraction of the time.
The solution to be supplied to Xiamen University includes the MVP, instrumentation, installation, and training services.

AML’s Moving Vessel Profiler is proven to remove both the technical and financial unpredictability associated with survey operations. With over 130 systems sold, MVP is the market leader in underway profiling systems, and is backed by 20 years of experience and thousands of successful surveys.
MVP30 V2 Underway Profiler
Are you tired of stopping your vessel for water column data collection, wasting precious time and resources? Look no further than the MVP30 V2, a tool that allows you to collect data in real time. With 185 metres of installed cable, this model is the smallest available system. The MVP30 V2 supports up to six independent data collection parameters and now features simplified controls and clearer system status visibility.
MVP30-350 V2 Underway Profiler
Need to unlock a larger portion of the water column? The MVP30-350 V2 extends your profiling range with 440 metres of installed cable, while still maintaining a small physical footprint. Supporting up to six independent data collection parameters, the MVP30-350 V2 delivers the same real-time profiling capability - now featuring updated controls and clearer system feedback at a glance.
