AML-1, The RT - (Real-Time) Version
The AML-1 is most frequently used with a sound velocity sensor for beam steering in multibeam sonar applications. The same instrument can also be deployed on buoys and underwater observatories - platforms with a fixed depth - to collect CT data and calculate salinity and density. The probe is sometimes used with Turbidity or Pressure sensors. The AML-1 RT is designed for real-time data streaming and has neither battery nor memory. A bulkhead connector brings power to the instrument and streams data back to the user.

Frequently Asked Questions
The AML-1 is a compact probe with a surprisingly powerful capacity for data collection. Each probe can be equipped with a wide variety of sensors including conductivity, sound velocity, turbidity, pH, and more. The AML-1 Probe features one sensor port on the endcap; certain sensors, like CT and SVT, offer dual-parameter capabilities. AML-1 RT is designed for real-time data streaming with a bulkhead connector for power input and data output. The probe has no battery and no memory.
