Arguably the most powerful
underwater measuring machine currently available,
our existing In-Spectr® system comprises
an underwater quadropole mass spectrometer
capable of detecting volatile organic compounds
(VOCs) and dissolved gases to 100m/z (mass
to charge) ratio. The system detects chemicals
in real-time to parts per billion thresholds
at depths of up to 20 metres.
This proven technology
has been extensively tested in controlled
deployments throughout North America. See
In-Spectr
for more details.
That said, some customers
need to measure chemical species other than
volatile organics. Examples include pesticides-in-water,
herbicides-in-water, dioxins-in-water, or
even PCBs-in-water. To date, there exists
no chemical-flexible technology that allows
the user to detect and measure such substances
in real-time.
At Applied Microsystems,
we have a beta technology to meet these
needs. The 200 / 200 project focuses on
fine tuning the functionality of our 200
m/z 200 meter capable underwater mass spectrometer.
We are currently searching for development
customers who are excited by the prospect
of working with us to further test this
leading-edge technology.
Why become a development
partner? Benefits include:
Immediate access to
leading-edge technology;
Significant reductions
in instrument cost; and
Unparalleled attention
and support.
